Every day, KIR has over 75 patients. High-quality rehabilitation service is the main focus. The military rehabilitation course usually takes 28 days.

UUA is committed to supporting a psychological helpline in Ukraine – ВартоЖити. This service includes a team of qualified psychologists who provide assistance to soldiers and their families.Here is the statistics for calls received in April 2024.

UUA provided the Podolsk Association of Neurosurgeons in the extremely necessary medical equipment

Advertising of the psychological helpline Varto Zhyty is everywhere in the cities of Kyiv, Dnipro, and Lviv. Also, we are thankful to Ukrzaliznytsia for advertising the helpline posters with all the details of when and how to call for psychological assistance.

In December, we provided and distributed 30,000 food packages to areas affected by war in Ukraine.

Our psychologists at Varto Zhyty working in the call center for the psychological support of military personnel and their families, underwent offline training conducted by psychologist and CBT therapist Alex Galchinski – a military veteran with 25 years of service, a Major in the Israeli Defense Forces, who participated in combat operations, experienced injuries, and loss of comrades.

UUA commitment to the psychological support helpline Varto Zhyty has made a significant impact. Over the past 2 months, the volume of calls for military personnel and their loved ones surpassed the entire previous quarter.

These two generators will be supporting a shelter and civil security training facility during cold winter months.

UUA procured and delivered another 30,000 food packages in November to war-affected areas in Ukraine.

Thanks to your generous support, UUA are able to fund the production and delivery of more than 30,000 food packages each month.

It fills our hearts with pride to fund the Kyiv Institute of Rehabilitation (KIR). This time, we've acquired (together with Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations) a special vehicle to transport those who have suffered in the Russian war to KIR for treatment.

United Ukraine Appeal has recently procured two ultrasound machines for Ukrainian medics.

We are pleased to deliver the ambulance to paramedics in Zaporizhzhya area (South-East of Ukraine) to help with transportation and evacuation close to the front lines.

UUA continuously delivers food to the most affected areas across Ukraine. People there are struggling not only physically but also physiologically, so we have changed the labels on the meal packages to provide information on Varto Zhyty - the psychological assistance helpline. We support Varto Zhyty and are amazed by the help this organization provides. Now, more people in need will be able to reach for the support they demand. Thanks for the support from our donors.

Every day, people in Konstantynivka are forced to hide from shelling by Russian forces. UUA is proud to support the shelter in Konstantynivka with food, providing a lifeline for those in need.

Our volunteers continued to brave the constant shelling to deliver food packages along the front lines in eastern Ukraine, including Kramatorsk and Bakhmut.

Each month United Ukraine Appeal finances over 15,000 food packages

United Ukraine Appeal financed and delivered generators and power banks to the town of Myrnohrad in Eastern Ukraine, which has endured ongoing Russian attacks on residential buildings and key infrastructure.

The power banks will be used to support "The Center of Invincibility" which is a safe shelter for residents during the bombings.
